More than 350 marketing & advertising professionals participated in this year’s All Things Facebook Conference, which took place on 30th of November in Athens, Greece, proving that sometimes “sequels” are more successful than their predecessors. The event was co-organized by Thinkdigital, Authorized Partner of Facebook in 6 countries, in collaboration with Marketing Week.

In front of a packed house, Alex Karageorgis, Country of Manager of Thinkdigital Greece, opened the conference and set the scene for the keynote speakers from Facebook. Sebastian Szmigielski, Account Manager CEE, took the audience through the key aspects of Facebook Marketing, presenting all new premium advertising products by Facebook, whereas Gianluca Ena, Manager CEEMEA, gave valuable insights on measurement and presented numerous case studies that achieved substantial ROI.

Thinkdigital was also represented on stage by Nectarios Charitakis, COO of the Thinkdigital Group, who spearheaded the Q&A session with Pandemic Labs’ Matt Peters and Ogilvy & Mather’s Olivia Rzepczynski,  as well as by Dragos Stanca, Managing Partner of Thinkdigital Romania, who showcased how to use Facebook in a creative way.

Throughout the event, the audience had the chance to express their views, ask questions, share ideas and get educated and inspired by the 6 top-notch speakers from abroad and the 15 greek experts.

With 1.7 million people accessing Facebook from mobile and more than 3,9 million as active users, Facebook boasts an 80% penetration of online population in Greece. And the big success of AllThingsFacebook ’12 is another indication of the vast potential that brands and agencies see in Facebook Marketing!
