ARBOMEDIA and THINKDIGITAL Announce Strategic Partnership to Launch Romania’s Most Extensive Multimedia Advertising Offering

Two of the best-known local advertising networks in the Romanian market—ARBOMEDIA and THINKDIGITAL— announced the start of a strategic partnership.

“Although, in theory, we are competitors, our offerings are actually perfectly complementary. This partnership came about naturally, given the local media market’s need for consolidation,” said the shareholders of both companies in a joint statement: Alin Alecu and Andreea Pistrițu of ARBOMEDIA, and Dragoș Stanca and Cristina Cucuiu of THINKDIGITAL.

With a consistent presence of over 20 years in the Romanian media industry, ARBOMEDIA currently operates the most extensive and diversified media network in the country.

Its portfolio includes more than 100 Romanian influencers, a network of over 600 outdoor advertising billboards, and the strongest portfolio of regional media in Romania: more than 110 local radio stations, over 140 local websites, more than 40 local TV channels, over 30 print publications, and the only consolidated Hungarian-language media offering in the country.

Meanwhile, THINKDIGITAL has been managing diverse digital networks with national and international coverage for more than 15 years. 

The company’s current offering includes four major networks featuring dozens of websites and content apps, hundreds of games (open for in-game advertising), several well-known podcasts, and Romania’s first network of content-focused newsletters.

In the coming months, both companies will continue to operate independently in terms of supplier and client relationships. 

However, their respective portfolios will gradually be aligned to provide the most effective integrated communication solutions—covering both traditional and digital media—along with influencer, key opinion leader, and podcast marketing.

The two companies estimate that the evaluation phase for a consolidated joint offering will be completed by the end of this year. 

Starting in January 2026, Romania’s media market will benefit from what is expected to be the most powerful and diverse multimedia offering in the industry, following this strategic partnership.
