The weekly newspaper BIHOREANUL was launched in October 2000, as part of the MediaPro local newspapers network.

This publication permanently improved, being taken over by local independent journalist from Oradea, led by Mircea Chirilă și Florin Ciucaș.  Today’s BIIHOREANUL also offers many extras and one high-traffic news portal, managing to constantly consolidate its position among all weekly newspapers and an image of unbiassed publication, mainly thanks to its investigations.
